The Northwest Story

Northwest Farm & Home Supply Co. was founded in March 1999 by current Owner and President, Douglas A. Peterson.  Doug spent many years with Great Plains Supply Co. The original store had a staff of five and was comprised of 80% building materials.

Shortly after opening the store, a feed and veterinary supply business was looking to close its branch in Lemmon. Doug decided to expand by purchasing this business because it was a perfect fit for his customers.

The store underwent a major expansion in 2006 by expanding the retail floor space by over 5,000 sq.ft.  Clothing, Jewelry, Housewares Departments were added along with a Kitchen and Bath display center and an indoor Greenhouse.

The store has grown from the 5 employees in 1999 to 23 employees currently.  Northwest Supply builds everything from sheds to Hotels.  Remodeling and new home construction remain a dominant part of the business.  New homes are constructed completely at our Building Center and delivered to our customers home-site or we can build on-site.  The Post-Frame Department erects buildings in a number of cities over three states.

Doug and all the employees at Northwest Farm and Home Supply thank our many loyal and dedicated customers.  The support of our customers and community throughout these years has allowed us to grow.  Northwest Supply is excited about the future as we are planning a number of changes that will benefit our customers and make the store even better.
